Andrew D. Martin, D.P.M.

Dr. Andrew Martin is a graduate of Valparaiso University in Indiana where he obtained a bachelor of science degree in biology and chemistry. He then received a podiatric medicine degree from the Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago.

Following graduation from Scholl College, Dr. Martin completed a podiatric/orthopedic residency at the William S. Middleton Veterans Administration Hospital in Madison, Wisconsin. He then completed a fellowship in complex foot and ankle surgery at Foot & Ankle Associates, Ltd. and at the Veterans Administration Chicago Healthcare System, Westside Division.

Dr. Martin has assisted with national training workshops involving external/internal fixation devices and advanced surgical techniques. His professional interests include research in diabetic wound care and limb salvage.

He is affiliated with Little Company of Mary and Ingalls Memorial Hospitals. Dr. Martin is a member of the Illinois Podiatric Medical Association and the American Podiatric Medical Association. Dr. Martin and his wife, Elizabeth, reside in south suburban Crestwood. Both enjoy traveling, snow skiing and home improvement projects.
